The Midwestern Beekeepers Association is a community of passionate beekeepers serving Kansas City and the western Missouri region. Our members range from beginners exploring the possibility of keeping bees to experienced professionals managing large-scale operations. Whether you’re a backyard hobbyist, a “side-liner” earning extra income, or a full-time beekeeper, you’ll find valuable resources, support, and camaraderie here.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to promoting sustainable beekeeping practices, educating the public, and supporting local beekeepers. Through education, outreach, and hands-on experiences, we strive to protect and grow the beekeeping community in western Missouri.
Monthly Meetings & Events
We meet monthly to share knowledge, swap tips, and discuss the latest in beekeeping. Our meetings feature guest speakers, workshops, and Q&A sessions, creating a welcoming environment for beekeepers of all experience levels.
